Suitable for JME’s CR2 Pipeline Crawler range, our intuitive test box represents a real change in the way in which the user can communicate with and diagnose the pipeline crawler system. The advent of JME’s next generation of crawler systems sees the transition from older “analogue” electronics over to microprocessor controllers. The benefit of this new technology is that the diagnostic information can be extracted from the system using the test box as opposed for the requirement for engineers to manually test circuitry and diagnose individual component failure.

This test box communicates with all major electronic circuits and processes linked to the crawler and informs the user of any errors found using a simple interface. The user will be able to identify the individual PCB which has encountered an issue. Swapping out of boards is simple with the modular, plug and play design allowing quick and easy fixes to be implemented and minimising any down time the operator experiences. The test box can also be connected to the internet and allows the update of software within the system to ensure that your crawler is kept up to date at all times.
