THE JME CR2 CRAWLER SYSTEM PROVIDES IMPROVED VERSATILITY OF OPERATIONS

HIGHER PRODUCTIVITY:
SWSI (Single Wall Single Image) – provides reduced X-Ray times over DWSI (External/Double Wall Single Image).

REDUCED BATTERY CHANGES / IMPROVED X-RAY TIME:
6CR2 = 64 Minutes    10CR2 = 120 Minutes.

REDUCED RELIANCE ON ISOTOPE CONTROL:
No radioisotope (such as Caesium-137) is required for signalling. This is due to the use of a JME Handset, improving safety. The lack of a radioisotope reduces operational and logistical issues as well as cost. The JME Handset can be used to control crawler drive functions, whilst a magnetic signalling system can be used to stop the crawler within the cutback area, with an accuracy of ±5mm. The combination of RF control via the JME Handset, and magnetic positioning, completely removes the need for a radioisotope in most circumstances – even on concrete weight-coated pipe.”

The JME CR2 Systems have advanced failsafe features, ensuring deployment within safe and controlled parameters, enhancing safety and efficiency of onshore pipeline inspections.

JME DETECTOR MOUNTING
JME can provide an X-Ray tube collar enabling the detector box to be mounted closer to the emission point. This reduces the required cutback to approximately 20cm.
