The model 99 48 Personnel Trolley is intended to convey a man down a pipe line of 24” to 48” diameter.

It is primarily used in recovery operations and internal pipe inspections.The Personnel Trolley has on board lighting both FORE and AFT, as well as a plug in inspection lamp for more exacting requirements.Stored in its main hold are fitted a type BC fire extinguisher suitable for electrical equipment fires, along with a comprehensive selection of tools, suitable for general repairs.It is intended that this tool selection is added to suit the actual task undertaken.There is a further compartment fitted to the Personnel Trolley, intended to carry any small parts (fuses etc) which might be helpful in effecting the task in hand.

The trolley has an electrical brake which releases as soon as FORWARD or REVERSE is selected.

The main controls are situated at the front of the trolley.The ‘run’ push switch is duplicated at the rear end, along with rear lamp switch and an accessory socket for powering the hand held lamp (24v).
