The JME personal radiation monitor is designed to be used by those working in an area of potential danger of radiation exposure. The presence of Gamma or X-Ray radiation is indicated by a loud audio alarm and bright red LED lamp. The unit is designed to bleep occasionally on background radiation indicating that is functioning correctly. The unit is housed in a rugged ABS plastic case fitted with a convenient belt / pocket clip. Power is provided by a standard 9 volt PP3 (IEC 6R61) battery. Note: Not intended for accurate dose monitoring
