Magnetope

MAGNETOPE:

JME Crawlers can be supplied with a unique, proven, magnetic control system, replacing conventional isotope control with its inherent transportation and storage problems.
The Magnetope is easy to install to new and existing JME Crawler equipment.
A magnetic transmitter (Magnetope) is used to control the functions of the crawler in a similar way to the signalling isotope.

Suitable for use up to 40mm steel thickness.

JME Magnetic Tracking

MAGNETIC TRACKING:

Fits inside the main chassis of the crawler so that the position of the crawler and its direction of travel can be monitored from outside the pipe, an alternative to isotope tracking.

JME Mantrolley

MAN TROLLEY:

The model Man Trolley is intended to convey a person down a pipe line of 24” – 48” diameter.
It is primarily used in recovery operations and internal pipe inspections.  The Personnel Trolley has on board lighting both FORE and AFT, as well as a plug in inspection lamp for more exacting requirements.  Stored in its main hold is fitted a BC type fire extinguisher suitable for electrical equipment fires, along with a comprehensive selection of tools, suitable for general repairs.

JME Audio Visual Alarm RA1

Audio Visual Alarm (RA1):

The JME Audio/Visual Radiation Alarm is a tool to assist Radiographers in environments where controlled exposure bays are not possible. Typical applications are landlines and offshore pipeline barges.
The JME Audio/Visual Radiation Alarm is normally used close to the area of x-ray emission to indicate visually and audibly the presence of Ionising Radiation.

Note: This is not a personnel radiation monitor nor should be used as one.

JME Personal radiation monitor

Personal Radiation Monitor:

The JME personal radiation monitor is designed to be used by those working in an area of potential danger of radiation exposure. The presence of Gamma or X-Ray radiation is indicated by a loud audio alarm and bright red LED lamp. The unit is designed to bleep occasionally on background radiation indicating that is functioning correctly. The unit is housed in a rugged ABS plastic case fitted with a convenient belt / pocket clip. Power is provided by a standard 9 volt PP3 (IEC 6R61) battery.

Note: Not intended for accurate dose monitoring

JME 10 Channel Charger

10 Channel Charger:

A multi-stage 10 channel charger designed for JME sealed lead / acid battery packs, to ensure optimum performance and battery life. Suitable for 10 & 24" Crawler systems.

JME 12/24V Battery Charger

12/24V Battery Charger:

A multi-stage dual channel charger designed for JME sealed lead/acid battery packs, to ensure optimum performance and battery life.

Suitable for 6" / 8" Crawler systems.

Radio Recovery System:

A radio recovery receiver and transmitter used for when the crawler has broken down due to an electrical fault and will reverse the crawler out of the pipe.

6" JME Recovery Vehicle

6" & 8" Crawler Recovery Vehicle:

A purpose built recovery vehicle complete with latching harpoon on one end, which can be sent into a pipe to recover the main 6" / 8" crawler if it should become jammed or disabled.

Even with the very best equipment and on the best regulated projects, there is a possibility of the crawler becoming inoperable in the pipe.  Whatever the cause, be it battery failure, debris or for any other reason, the crawler must be retrieved from the pipe.  It is common practice on site to have two crawlers, thus providing 100 percent back up should the prime unit become damaged.
